Privacy Policy
OurBoard is a privately operated household calendar display. This policy describes how it handles Google Calendar data.
Data accessed
When an account holder authorizes OurBoard, it reads the list of available calendars, calendar display metadata, and event details—including event names, times, and colors—for calendars the account holder selects.
How data is used
Google Calendar data is used only to display the selected household calendars on the privately operated OurBoard device. OurBoard uses read-only Google Calendar access and does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
Storage and sharing
Authorization credentials and the calendar data cache are stored locally on the household’s device. Calendar data is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or shared with third parties. The device separately requests weather data from its configured weather provider; it does not send Google Calendar data to that provider.
Control and deletion
The account holder can remove OurBoard’s Google Account access from their Google Account’s third-party connections and can reset the local OurBoard setup to remove stored authorization credentials and cached calendar data.
